Angie Monaco Palin Internship in Museum Education

 

One of the chief aims of our museum is education! Through the Angie Monaco Palin Internship, you can make a real impact on visitors of all ages. Interns will have the opportunity to interact with youth, families, and adults through a variety of in person and virtual programs.

 

Examples of Projects:

Projects will be based on the intern’s interests, the museum’s needs, and scheduling availability.

  • Create a hands-on history activity designed to bring Missoula County history to community festivals and outreach events
  • Learn to lead field trip stations at Fort Missoula for hundreds of local 3rd graders during the fall, spring, or summer
  • Adapt one of our popular field trip stations to a virtual format
  • Create history themed activity kits to distribute to community partners such as the Boys and Girls Club or EmPower Place at the Food Bank.
  • Design a tour of Fort Missoula for young professionals/college students/etc.
